Come to Mason and visit the private 21 Club on the Square – Lea Lou Co-op.
We serve a great selection of beer, wine, food!
Homemade pizzas and salads and on Saturday night you can dance to live music in the Lea Lou Dance Hall. You’ll find us on the southeast corner of Historic Mason Square in the famous Grosse Hardware building dating back to the early 1900’s.
Newly renovated, you will enjoy Lea Lou’s “cattle baron chic” décor that includes an 18-foot bar from one of Mason’s original saloons, famous W. R. Dallas furniture, crystal chandeliers and one of Patsy Cline’s show saddles. Out back is a fire pit area and picnic tables under the trees and stars of Mason’s dark skies (Mason is an official dark sky county). The sports area has table tennis, big screen TV and more. The old lumber storage barn is now a special event space for parties, weddings and outdoor concerts.
Lea Lou Co-op is owned by Andy Smith, a descendant of Anna Mebus Martin, Founder and President of The Commercial Bank in Mason, TX (1901-1925) and first female founder/bank president in the United States. Anna Martin was inducted into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in 2011 to celebrate and honor her history and legacy as a female trailblazer and pioneer whose achievements impacted our nation and the West.
If you like to dance, or just love good music, join us Saturday nights where we feature Traditional Texas Country and Swing music from performers like Rick Trevino. On Friday’s Daryl Watson and His Random House Band provides entertainment with the opportunity for musicians to sit in on stage. Stop by anytime and enjoy a glass of wine or one of eight beers on tap, including Lobo Texas Lager and Devil’s Backbone. Sink into one of our W.R. Dallas oversized chairs, enjoy old time games, or step outside and relax in the beer garden.
