Mason Independent School District

MISD is a Class 2A conference school consisting of Mason Elementary, Mason Junior High and Mason High School currently serving approximately ​685 students. Mason ISD, has a strong history of both athletic and academic successes and is very proud of its students and teachers as well as the parents and community that serve as a vital and strong support system for the district. Mason High School was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2010 ​and Mason Elementary was named a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School. The 2013-14 overall district passing rate on the STAAR Assessments was 90% compared to state rate of 77%. The drop-out rate is 0% and has been for many years.

The 2011 State 1A Football Championship ​and a second place finish at the State 2A Championship game of 2014 ​leads a long list of athletic accomplishments for the Mason Independent School District.

​MHS has more than 80 State Tennis Championships and two consecutive ​State One Act Play Championships in 2014 and 2015. The boys’ track team also had a second place finish at the State Track Meet of 2015 including a State Champion 4×400 meter relay.
