Open-House

Mason Solar & Energy Savers is happy to join hands with other local Mason enterprises and be part of the Mason County Chamber of Commerce. Keith Kaan & Bill Skinner own the business and have been designing and installing solar systems for folks in both the city and county of Mason. Although we have, on occasion, installed systems in surrounding counties.

Our mission is to provide solar solutions that are priced for rural Texas and utilize local services and employ locally whenever possible. Currently we have two installers that work for us, but as we grow the business, we will be hiring more. Solar is one of the fastest growing job markets in the US and we plan on being part of that growth.

Keith has been involved in community projects building Habitat for Humanity homes in Mason for 12 years. He will continue supporting the home building projects as a consultant, but will be focusing on providing affordable solar solutions for Mason.

Bill has been a resident in Mason for several years. He built a business in Georgetown providing a community focused magazine. To be a bigger part of the Mason community, Bill has joined Keith as a partner in building our solar business.

In addition to solar, Mason Solar & Energy Savers can also assist you with energy efficiency recommendations and upgrades. Sometimes it may be more economical for the consumer to make some energy improvements to reduce consumption, then use a solar system to do the rest.

Contact them if you would like to learn more. Solar prices have come down to the point where it’s a good investment as well as a way for you to help reduce CO2 emissions.
